A message from Captain Waddie...

Dear all,

A massive personal thank you to everyone who supported the Felix Festival in 2015. We raised approx £25k for the Felix Fund, which is outstanding. That money will go to making colleagues, friends and families lives better, including families of individuals who have been killed or physically or mentally injured carrying out Bomb Disposal duties.

Specialist buggy for the disabled son of a serving AT. The child was born with a number of physical and mental disabilities.

Contributions towards expenses for an ex-Sapper to travel to Australia for pioneering surgery to enable him to walk with prosthetics. He lost both legs in Afghanistan and was house bound, trapped in a wheelchair.

Speakers and a projector for use by troops deployed to Pakistan.

Funding towards a replacement stair lift for a former serving soldier to enable him to stay in his own home.

Towards a new mobility lease vehicle for a double amputee. This ex-ATO was injured in Afghanistan; The vehicle gives him independence.

Medical and exercise equipment for the baby son of a serving AT who has cystic fibrosis. This equipment will enable him to exercise at home in order to help the condition and give him and his family a better quality of life.
